Most albums have been pressed multiple times in slightly different ways. Any difference at all between two versions of the same album counts as a different release. You can find examples on sites like Discogs, where you\'ll typically find many different releases listed for a particular album. <br /><br />
This of course applies to more than just albums, and extends in the same way to different pressings of singles, EP\'s, anthologies, etc. <br /><br />
