# Connecting The Game Client To Your VM / SWG Server

Open the file in any text editor (notepad / notepad++) depending on your personal preference and then locate the line that starts with _loginServerAddress0=_ and then replace whatever IP address is there with the static IP address of your VM. It should look like this:
